Community Guidelines

Built for progress. Grounded in respect.

The standards intended for Fitlume’s future fitness community, clearly separated from today’s informational website.

1. Purpose and current status

Fitlume is preparing a fitness-first community where people can train, share progress, discover others, and connect with respect for safety, dignity, authenticity, and privacy.

The Fitlume app and community are not publicly available. These Guidelines explain the standards intended for that future community. Public reporting, moderation, appeals, and urgent-safety services are not currently operating through this website.

2. Respect people

  • Do not harass, threaten, stalk, shame, bully, exploit, or encourage others to target a person.
  • Do not attack or exclude people based on protected or personal characteristics, body type, ability, health, experience, or fitness level.
  • Do not sexualise another person without consent or share non-consensual intimate content.
  • Do not encourage self-harm, suicide, dangerous eating behaviour, or conduct likely to create an immediate safety risk.

3. Keep content safe and lawful

  • Do not share unlawful content, credible threats, instructions for serious wrongdoing, sexual exploitation, graphic cruelty, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
  • Do not present dangerous workout practices, substance misuse, or misleading health or performance claims as safe professional guidance.
  • Do not distribute spam, scams, deceptive promotions, manipulated engagement, malware, or unauthorised commercial solicitations.
  • Only share media and workout information you have the right to use. Respect gym rules and obtain permission before featuring another person.

4. Protect privacy and boundaries

  • Do not expose another person’s contact information, identity documents, precise location, medical information, private messages, or other sensitive information without authority.
  • Do not use Fitlume to monitor, locate, intimidate, or pressure another person.
  • Respect profile-visibility choices, follow-request boundaries, blocks, and limits on gym or trainer access when those features become available.
  • Share thoughtfully, because a person who can view content may still capture or redistribute it.

5. Be authentic

  • Do not impersonate a person, trainer, gym, organisation, or Fitlume representative.
  • Do not misrepresent qualifications, affiliations, achievements, transformations, or the source of a workout plan.
  • Do not coordinate false reports or manipulate follows, likes, comments, or reviews.

6. Future community operations

If community features launch, Fitlume intends to provide proportionate tools and processes for blocking, reporting, moderation, and appeals. Details will be published when those services are operational. The support address below can receive general questions, but it is not currently a live in-app reporting, moderation, appeal, or emergency service.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service rather than relying on this website.

7. Updates

These Guidelines may be updated before community features launch and as the service develops. The version available at this stable URL will describe the standards that apply to the features then offered.
